My roommate has been putting in applications to rescues and I knew they were pretty thorough.
Of course, because we live together, he had to put down info about our pets that my husband and I have. We just got a text today saying they needed the names to our dogs so they could check in with our vet, and they asked us to call the vet in advance so we can give them permission to our dog's medical records.
Is this normal? I'm not very sure why they need the medical records? I'm not sure if I'm just being weird about it because usually when someone wants info like that it's a scam but then again, I knew he was applying to these rescues so maybe not?
I just want to be enlightened.
