Me and my fiancé have 3 cats, ages 10 months and 7 months. We got pregnant AFTER getting the cats, and I only have 20 weeks of pregnancy left. They are all very active, and very needy. My oldest 2 will walk all over your chest and push their head on your face and plop themselves down regardless if it’s your face/chest/stomach. And my youngest one is the same way, but she also likes to bite moving toes. Which we always thought was cute because as long as you have socks on and don’t stick your foot out of the blanket it’s okay. But recently she’s also been climbing us if we have hoodies strings or buttons on our shirts to bite them. She loves rough housing. My fiancé is also allergic to them but puts up with it and takes medicine because he also wanted cats. I’m worried that when the baby gets here it will be a problem with them trying to lay and play with the baby out of love and end up hurting them, and also that the baby will be allergic to the cats. I’m wondering if I should wait until baby is born and see how it goes or rehome them now? It’s hard to even think about because I view pets as my babies too.
