would it be a bad or good idea to keep a pillow my kitten has already peed on and make it into his dedicated pee pillow so he doesn’t pee on any other new stuff?

as the title states, i have an 8 month kitten (hes not neutered yet) who has been peeing on a lot of my things lately. i stopped leaving things out that he could pee on but today i noticed he peed on my pillow. i was going to just throw it away but i was wondering if i keep this pillow out would it be a good or bad idea? my idea is that he’ll keep peeing on that pillow instead of anything else or anything new. thoughts? ideas?

he has a vet appointment on friday
