I have a 5F cat, roomie has a 5M and 4M cat. The 5M and my girl don't get along, but Ashe seems to like the 4M and they play tag a lot. I've been living here for about a year now.
Problem is, roomie's boys adore me. I know I can't stop them from eating my cat's food or using her litterbox, but I really wish that they weren't following me from room, crying if I commit a mortal sin of locking the door or refusing to hold them (they're literally have hour long tantrums).
Since about a month moving in, they've lost all interest in my roommate and they'll completely ignore her! She tries to play with them, and they still choose me. They also come to me for food time, and want to sleep in my arms at night.
I just want to be able to shut the door and give my girl some love/play. But if they're in the same room and I start to pay attention to her, the other two come over. If I lock her and myself in my room, they'll WAIL because they want me to play with them.
They're both sweet boys and it tears my heart in half to even imagine ignoring them, but if that's what it take, I guess? I feel bad for Ashe, because she deserves the love :(
