My 11 month cat has recently been peeing blood and we took her to the vets and they asked us to give a urine sample. When the results came back there were crystals of bladder stones present and so the vet prescribed a urinary diet for dissolve the stones and anti inflammatory meds. She’s been on the diet for a week and I stopped the meds for 3 days because she was having diarrhoea and the medication states to stop if so.
She is still peeing blood but if anything this time it is looking worse. Is this normal for urinary diets??
