I have a pitbull/black lab/Rottweiler mix. She weighs a good 130+ pounds. She’s huge. Therefore, lots of fat and warmth to her. Around 10:30 I hear someone POUNDING on my door. I open it to a neighbor across the street, holding her little like 2 pound yorkie thing. She starts in on a rant about how it’s cold, my dog is outside with no shelter, and her chain is short. I said “Aria is fine. She has a dog house she just doesn’t want to use it, we did shorten her chain a little but it’s to keep her out of the trash and it’s not too short by any means. She will be let in at noon when my fiancé gets home from work for lunch.” She continues saying stuff and then goes “I’m just going to report you guys then.” At that point I’d had enough and went to just shut the door, she shoves back against the door to keep it open and repeats that she’s going to report us. So I shoved the door closed and locked it, heard her go “stupid bitch”. First off-your dog is way smaller than mine and you’re walking around with it outside, you clearly were in my backyard to see my dogs chain and see that she’s not using her dog house. Second off, don’t you dare try to push the door open to get in when I am closing it. Report me. I don’t give a crap. Our dog is fine and well taken care of and she spends a very minimal amount of time outside. If it was any colder than it is she wouldn’t have been left out. We know how to take care of our animals. Funny how it’s just now a damn issue when we’ve lived here for almost 4 years?! Sorry for my language here but I just wish people would mind their own business. Freakin ridiculous. I’m sure she will go report us and report that I shoved the door in her face to get her out but I don’t care. She shouldn’t have been trying to get in our house to begin with.
