Is there a visual resource for ways to tell if canned cat food is defective/contaminated with anything? opened a can of pate and it was filled with tiny white orbs i wasn't sure about.

I was confused but still fed my kitten some since ive opened a lot of cans of food that seem to have colors or what i presumed was an ingredient littered throughout the pate (please dont flame me over this, my last cat was dry food only so im new to the wet food world). Kitten threw up about a half hour or so after eating some so im thinking maybe it was something bad since reviews for that specific flavor from the company i just looked up seem to indicate particularly bad quality control.

Is there a resource available that would show me what all different kinds of mold or contamination look like in cat foods?
