I recently took my 2 year old cat to be spayed last week. Everything went great and she was fine with no issues whatsoever, however it has been a little over a week now and we have never seen her act like this. She is constantly howling and scratching the bedroom door making it impossible to sleep at night. Before her surgery she was fine sleeping on the couch or in her bed in the living room, but ever since she got the surgery, it has been a complete nightmare where I've only been getting less than 4 hours of sleep because she will NOT stop. It goes on until the morning and the afternoon until we let her in. I refuse to let her in the room because she will have the zoomies and run around the bedroom at 3 in the fucking morning. We have tried everything from putting double sided tape on the door, foil paper and even barricading the door with boxes, laundry baskets etc. She will still find her way to jiggle the door knob and continue to scratch. I don't know what to do at this point. I love my cat however she has been a complete fucking PSYCHO since being spayed & I just want to sleep.
