:( need to figure out how to not hate this dog.

I typically LOVE all animals, But I can not stand this dog at all! (Husky mix, 1.5 yrs old, rescue, not fixed!)

My husband and I got her when she was about 9 months old. She was a stray.. then she was in the humane society. So when we got her she was not house trained and was very into trying to get table scraps anyway she could.

At first I was understanding and was just looking at the positive side. She was great with my 3 yr old who we got the dog for.

After a few months I began to get annoyed by her bc it was like once she'd learned one thing n got good with that then forget something else. I swear she's the stupidest dog I've ever met in my life.

After about 4 months she finally was house broken fully after A LOT of issues. Then she started chewing on everything ... Mostly my daughters toys even though she has a ton of her own chew and play toys. So I ended up just getting rid of all wooden toys my daughter had. It seemed to help for a bit. About a month later she began taking and chewing on my daughter's plastic toys my house rug and lanoliium too. I am not about to get rid of all my daughters toys for this dumbass dog. As a result I at least put the toys into a closed off closet.

She continues to get into my trash bin and getting on my counters taking food while we r outside.... even tho she knows she'll get into trouble. Once she sees we notice she'll run to her cage and hide. Now she's started eating blankets we have on our beds. Eating cat poo out of litter box and She's started chasing my cat pinning him down n trying to pull his hair out.

It's been almost a yr since we first got her and it's to the point I hate her. I see her and just want to have her gone. If it wasn't for the idea she's my daughter's dog, and my husband likes her ok ... She'd be gone!!!!!

Idk what to do. I want to like her. I'd like to be able to correct her behaviors (obviously without beat it out of her, bc I'm against hitting animals). I've just gotten to the point idk what to do anymore. I've tried everything n feel like I can't do anything to correct this bs.

My question is how can I not only correct her problems and make it stick, but maybe start at least not hating her so much I want her gone?
