I'm wondering if I am the only one who runs into this while taking your dog out to do it's business in an apartment complex. We have recently moved into this new apartment complex which has a dog park. Our dog is a little over 1 so high energy and he's a golden about 70 lbs. He loves people and dogs so when he sees them he tries to jump up and run over to them which just doesn't work out. I never know if the dogs are friendly and never want to freak out the owners. I try to take my dog in an area away from others so he will go and not freak out. Owners see me walk deliberately away from them but then they turn and walk their dog somewhat near me. And they just stop with their dog and just stare and don't say anything to me. I've been attempting to train my dog but sometimes it's just too much for him so he starts jumping trying to play with the dog. I'm usually the one to say, " alright I'm going to walk him this way" and start walking away. This isn't just some random occurrence but I've run into this situation a handful of times with different owners. Has this happened to others? Thoughts on how I can politely say "stay the f away"?
