Feline vestibular disease

Our family cat got recently diagnosed with vestibular disease. It basically means that her vestibular nerve is damaged and she feels very dizzy, out of balance and disoriented. She can't really focus her eyes anywhere because of it and gets bit Lost around the house. She also falls over easily and walks on circles, tilts her head to right and is very frustrated. Has anhone experienced this with their cat? Did they recover well? Did it get worse? And what age was your cat? Our cat is 15 years old so i'm very worried. I hope that someone has experience about this in older cats and it ended well. I really hope she can overcome this.

Sorry about any spelling mistakes I might have made. English is not ny first language.
