Hello, my boyfriend (Canadian, 21) and me (Mexican, 21) want to move together to Mexico. Our biggest concern with the move, however, are our two pets: we have an eight month old tabby cat and a three year old black lab, who was also trained as a service dog but never applied for the certification. The fastest way of travel involves about three planes and a total of at least eight hours on the air (2-5-1), and although the kitten is not that big of a concern because she's very calm and doesn't mind being in her crate for long periods of time (because it's big for her and she can move around and have her litter inside), our dog is extremely sensitive and can't even bare five minute car rides to the park, even less a trip so long, and my boyfriend doesn't like the idea of sedating him and sending him with the suitcases, and going through the US is not an option since I don't have a visa for going through there, nor would either of us brown skinned people want to with the current political climate.
Has any of you gone through something similar? Is there any service or method that you guys have tried? Thank you beforehand, and have a great day!
