Yesterday my dog got attacked by two big dogs, she only weighs 7 pounds. She had a bite wound on her but she was only punctured in one place (she’s a warrior). I took her to the vet, they shaved the area and gave me antibiotics and pain meds. This morning when I woke up she had a pretty dark bruise on her rib area. It looks like this could have been the spot where the other tooth might have gone down on her. I called the vet and they just said to watch it. She’s actually normal, not like she’s in pain, eating, and playing fine. Is there anything I should watch for, or does anyone have any experience with this? I’m definitely a worrier when it comes to her. Thanks guys!
