Cat's Eyes are Always Runny

I got my baby, Leo, from a rescue when he was 4 months old and he is now 10 months old. When I first brought him home he had runny eyes for a couple days but they resolved before I took him to my vet so I figured it was a little infection from being around other cats that went away. in the last week his eyes have returned to the way they looked when I first got him. I plan to take him to the vet but I can't get an appointment with mine for another few days and I wanted to make sure it wasn't something emergent I should take him somewhere else for. The discharge is clear when I wipe it from his eyes but dries brown around the inner corners. Other than this he has been eating well and is as energetic as always (which is VERY energetic lol). He also doesn't seem to notice the watering. He's not squinting his eyes or rubbing at them. He has sneezed a few times times but nothing constant and usually after he kicks up a bunch of litter going to the bathroom. Should I wait to see my vet at the end of this week (likely Friday or Saturday) or should I take him in sooner?
