Convince me to keep my cat

she's happy, she's well cared for, she came to me only because she would have been returned to a shelter otherwise. she seems to have mild separation anxiety and she hates all animals and other people except me.

getting rid of her would be hard on her and I'd like to be convinced to keep her.

whenever she isn't doing anything I don't mind her. she can run around and do whatever and it doesn't bother me. However, when she makes a mess or does something that costs me time or money I hate her. it passes, but for about the hour after or until she stops, I feel nothing but animosity for her. she fucks up my plants, she's loud as hell, she tears papers up and leaves them everywhere. for the last three months she's been peeing on the carpet and I finally got her spayed. now that she's stopped peeing I can finally clean my apartment. it took leaving flattened trash bags on the floor to keep her from peeing, and I only figured that out after letting her pee on them and just leaving it (soaked into toilet paper on top) now that I can finally clean everything up I'm relieved, but I absolutely resent her. I wouldn't have to do this if I didn't have her. I could have everything immaculate all the time if she wasn't around. I wouldn't have to buy her things, I wouldn't have to plan my time around her.

I can count her up in hours and dollars and i'm not sure there's anything she can do at this point to be worth how much she costs.

I'll say straight up that this isn't a problem with her. she's about average for a cat, and it's 100% me and how I feel about her - so, why do you like your cat? what does your cat do that makes them worth the time and and money they cost?
