Deep Cat Scratch... should I be worried?

I was picking up my girlfriend's cat to move her, and I must've mishandled her, because it led to her jumping off me by pushing off really hard. Her claw punctured right into my left index finger.

There was minimal bleeding, but it was deep, and it's slightly bruised.

I tried washing my hand, soaking the finger in isopropyl alcohol, and then applying a bandage with neosporin, but I'm worried because it's a deep puncture-like wound, it might not be getting exposed to the soap, alcohol, or neosporin.

I seriously don't want to have an infection--I had staph twice in my finger and once sent me to the hospital--should I monitor it or go to the doctor and ask for antibiotics? I'm on medicaid, which is pretty shoddy, but I'm 26 and can't really afford quality health insurance at this point. In other words, I don't really have the money for a doctor's visit right now.
