Really hoping I can get some advice on this ongoing situation.
Our dog and cat have lived together for almost 3 years and never had a problem between them. However, yesterday they got into a pretty intense “fight.” I’m not sure how it started, it seemed like a big misunderstanding at first which then ended up escalating.
Both animals are fine, neither were physically hurt. However, our cat is now TERRIFIED of the dog and has been hiding and distant over the past 24 hours. Whenever she does come out and it seems fine again something will eventual set them off and they will go at it again.
I feel terrible that my cat is now living in constant fear. Any advice on how to work on repairing their relationship? Thanks
