Im not sure if this is the right sub, if not let me know. My dog hasn’t eaten in 2 days. He’s a 2 year old border collie. I’ve fed him what i’ve always fed him ( 1 cup in the morning and 1 in the evening of Eartborn Holisitic Dry Food, with some pumpkin and other veggies on top each day, and a little ground beef.) Hes always been fine with this, and gobbles it up. He’s at a healthy weight, and very energetic. Yesterday morning, I gave him his usual and he didn’t touch it. I thought he wasn’t hungry, so I took him out for a run (I run him everyday), came back and tried to get him to eat. Still wouldn’t touch it. Dinner rolls around and he still won’t touch it. This morning, same thing. I thought maybe his stomach was hurting him, so left out just dry food, which he wouldn’t touch. Then I tried to feed him some meat I had in the fridge, and he still won’t eat it. He’s laying next to me now, and his stomach is making really loud noises. Is it just growling because he’s hungry? Or could it be something else? His energy has been the same, he walks and goes on runs fine. If he doesn’t eat in another 2 days, i’m taking him to the vet.
