Just got my first dove from a great breeder.
Super friendly and gentle.
Issue is, he seems to like snuggling on soft things such as your lap/cushions, but I don't know if it's okay to let him sleep on one, since they're supposed to be on perches a lot to exercise their legs.
I've currently emptied out cupboard and let him sleep in there as it seems to be his favourite spot in the house, but would you guys recommend anything for him to sleep on such as a blanket?
I've had parrots before who liked to sleep on natural wood perches, but this is my first time having a dove/pigeon. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
