My cat just turned a year old and me being a first time cat owner, had no idea indoor cats could get fleas too. My poor baby has been infested with these things & they’re biting at my legs as well. We tried a waterless flea shampoo but it hasn’t done the job, followed by pouring salt on the carpet and spraying flea repellent (we’ve vacuumed as well). I can literally see them crawling on her face and in her ears I feel so bad! I don’t know what else to do...should I take her to the vet?? Have them give her a flea bath+ medicine?? Or does anyone have any tips for solving this at home? These pesky things are my nightmare right now. Should I be separating her away from the living room/bedrooms right now? I feel bad shutting her out into the bathroom but I have fleas jumping on me the moment I do anything around the apartment that has rugs/furniture. I also purchased advantage but did wanted to give the waterless flea bath a go first.
