My grandparents are disabled and can't go out of their house very much. I visited them recently to find that their house was full of kittens. They ended up taking in a stray female cat and it has had 2 litters of 7 kittens and is about to have a 3rd. The first litter of kittens are even trying to inbreed with eachother, so there's no end in sight to all of this.
My grandparents are trying their best to take care of them all and have told me they can't afford to get them fixed (yet they can afford cat litter and food for all of them... go figure), but clearly 14+ cats is WAY too many for any person to have.
I need to know my options in getting rid of these cats and finding them somewhere safe to stay. My grandparents aren't in the position to take care of this many animals, and with none of them fixed it will just be chaos.
I've tried facebook marketplace and craigslist, but I'm not getting any interest at all when offering them free to a good home, probably due to there being so many other listings for free cats/dogs.
Apparently my towns shelter is full and not excepting any more cats. What can I do???
