My wife and i recently adopted an awesome aussie shepherd.
The dog is amazing. Obedient, athletic, quiet, and intelligent.
That being said, we are having a fucker of a time introducing the dog to the cat.
We are keeping the pets separate for now and trying to gradually introduce them. We have graduated to barrier introduction. The dog goes absolutely bananas. If hes not on the couch with us, hes sniffing the door (barrier). He goes full barking fit if one of us goes into the cats room.
I love this dog, but im scared he might be too aggressive to live with a cat.
Experiences? This seems like the worst possible scenario, the dog legit pulled me off the couch trying to get into the room earlier tonight.
