so my cat just had her kittens about 2 weeks ago and i left her alone with privacy with her babies in the living room and she hasn't been acting weird or different lately but she has been a bit more affectionate with my girlfriend who she kinda bonded with her after 6 months of us dating and her coming over, anways last night i got out of bed and accidentally stepped on my girlfriends leg while she was asleep and shes screeched out of pain and within seconds my cat ran in my room and hissed at me, then just sat in front of my bed watching over my girlfriend like she was watching over her..... its cute and all but thats supposed to be my freaking cat lmfao just curious if this is normal behavior or if she has a strong bond with my girl or what i heard is that she knows that she might be pregnant idk im not a cat expert just looking for some possible reasons for this.
