I started noticing this over the past year or so. In Youtube videos of cats and dogs, it's become almost a rule that one refers to themselves as their pet's Mommy or Daddy. They are NOT their pet's parents. They are their owners.
If they refer to themselves as their pet's parents, what do they call their actual parents...?
