Hi! We recently brought home a new kitten to a house that has 2 dogs (one is 4 years old the other is 1 and 8 months). Neither dog has any history of aggression with cats, and both seem very eager to play with the kitten. The kitten though is a bit more wary around them, and hisses at them when they try to get near. We are doing the slow introduction approach, but someone suggested keeping the kitten crated at night (the kitten has a crate but the dogs don't if anyone asks why not crate the dogs) so that she can smell the dogs througout the night and hopefully get used to them. Is this a good idea, and would anyone know how to better ease the kitten into getting used to the two dogs? Thanks Guys!
