So my boy Fredrick was found lethargic last night in my moms bathroom. He wasn’t able to move and ended up pooping on himself. We took him the the emergency vet and due to not having a lot of money we were only able to do few tests. The vet narrowed down his sickness to either lymphoma, liver disease or FIP. All are horrible. The vet said the most likely scenario is lymphoma. I can not afford chemo. I would like to look into pet insurance but am unsure of any insurances that will cover a pre existing disease.
He’s starting some steroids and anti nausea medicine
My heart is smashed. This has been my bestest friend for the last 7 years. He was there through everything, and I want to make sure I’m there for him. I’d really appreciate any advice on how to make him comfortable, or regarding the pet insurance, basically anything. I’m so lost right now...
