I’m wondering if there is anything I can do to help this situation.
I’ve had her since I was 7 years old, and she is about 12 years old currently. I was the only person in our family she bonded with, while her sister bonded with multiple people.
She runs away when other family members approach her unless they are feeding her. She is just so incredibly shy.
Like all kids do, I grew up and I very sadly had to leave her behind. She was my little buddy and would cuddle up and sleep with me every night.
Anyways, I had to take this semester off and my kitty was not happy that I wasn’t there for her every day of the last semester. She still loves my pets, but she pisses on anything of mine that I leave out. Everyone else’s things are safe but if I leave my jacket laying around, for instance, she pisses on it.
I can’t let her sleep with me anymore because she pisses on my bed.
I want to help her live happily even though I can’t be there for her all the time. I also would appreciate it if she stopped pissing all over my things.
Does anyone have any advice?
