My tuxedo cat got out last night at 9:30pm it started pouring an hour later and continued till 9:30 am. He’s exclusively indoor and we naturally are concerned since last fall there have been increased coyote sittings. We have placed food and soiled litter outside, left the garage and back door ajar ( thanks for not killing us possible murderers!) we have made the walk through the part of our neighbor hood that we could have a heads up to a few of our neighbors. Searched for him in the storm multiple times. He is actually a very friendly cat though I don’t know his reaction with this situation if he will be skittish or not. I plan on buying a havahart later so set up for the evening. Other than posters and social media what else can I do? I dying inside thinking about something possibly having happened to him. Any good subreddits that can help? Any help is appreciated!
