The vet yesterday morning gave me antibiotics and a foot cream and he is significantly better today. The swelling is down and he was even perched today tucking the good foot and sitting on the bad foot which is incredible progress. My question is, is his follow up next Thursday really necessary considering how well the treatment plan is working? I imagine he will be even better by then and am curious if it’s worth the cost for the vet to tell me what I already know: it’s working.
