My fiance's grandparents travel the US for their retirement. They have a really big trailer (its about the size of a one bedroom apt) They had a dog and took him everywhere. Gave him all the attention in the world and recently the dog has passed. They are, of course, devastated.
My fiance's grandmother is obsessed with pigs. She could talk about pigs for hours and I've entertained the idea of getting them a pig since I have heard that they can make good house pets. Considering my in laws are almost always outside, I feel like giving them an adopted pig would give them all the best possible life and make them really happy. They are retired so the pig would get a lot of attention.
Thoughts? Preferably from people who own a pig?
