Traveling with two cats -- advice?

Hey y'all. So I'm currently a student away at college about an hour and 15 mins. from my family's house. My family is going to visit family up north all weekend but I can't go because it's my finals weekend. We have two lovely kitties at home who will need taking care of while they're out of the house, so I'm driving to pick them up and bring them to my apartment from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon(ish). We've never traveled long distances with them before (nothing <10 mins) and they've also never stayed anywhere else while they've been ours.

Also, one of my cats was unfortunately declawed before we rescued him, but our other cat has all of his claws. The one without claws like to play with the other, which sometimes results in him getting a small cut on his nose or face. This is the main reason they're staying with me. I'm curious as to if their adjusting to my apartment will maybe irritate them and result in an actual fight I'll have to break up? Or something along those lines? I also have three other roommates and a fairly spacious apartment, so any advice for keeping them comfortable for the next few days is appreciated.

TIA!
