First time post in this sub, I hope this is the right place to ask.
I will be watching a close friends cats for about 6 days very soon and will live in her apartment for that time as well. She has two indoor cats, both of them know me and we’re good buddies.
Aside from the obvious things like feeding, cleaning cat litter and water, do experienced cat owners have any suggestions of what I could do to make the cats extra happy? I’ve played and cuddled with them before, so of course I’ll do this now as well. They’re very social and friendly and I want them to have the best time they can have.
As well as for the owners, I’d like to do something each day to make them happy. My friend and her partner love their cats, and I want to go a step further than just saying that everything is ok/sending a single picture.
What would make you happy from a pet sitter? What would you appreciate? And for cat owners, what advice can you give me?
Either way, I’m excited. :)
