1st post on here, so I hope I'm doing this right.
I have a 6 month old dog who has become scared of young kids. He will tense up and bark at them once he sees them. He hasn't really been near children much, but it's a problem when we take him for walks in our neighborhood, especially with it being summer break. He's even starting to be the same way with older people, but once he sniffs them, then he ignores them. He hasnt tried to bite or growl, since I keep him at a distance from strangers. He's very sweet with us, but this is a recent problem that makes it hard to take him places. I just need advice on what I can do to show my dog that he should be friendly with people.
