I'm in the process of becoming a fire fighter, and that means I'll be working 24hr shifts. I have no SO, and before I try and adopt a dog I want to make sure I can take care of it. I've always felt that feeding an animal makes it love you more. Yet If I'm working 24hrs I will have to set up an automatic feeder. Really what I want to know is if this will make a dog less loyal and loving if I am not giving it its meals!
