Title explains it all. My dog (8 months, female Labrador) is currently in season and my mum still takes her for walks and is normally very cautious as to dogs around her and she usually goes out really early or really late.
Today they were out at a local park (not a dog park) and there were no dogs in the area so she let my dog off the leash and after maybe 30 minutes another dog came running out of nowhere and chased my dog around for a while and begun to hump her (my mum said it lasted around 10 seconds maybe) because thats the time it took her to run over and stop it. We’re worried about my dog getting pregnant and being hurt because shes still a puppy and probably shouldn’t carry at this age.
Please help me, what should i do?
