I have a husky and she is stubborn when it comes to toilet related behaviours. She'd stop where ever and pee or poop. But I want her to do it on a place of my choice and teach her to ask to go for that place when she wanna go poop, or wait until I take her, or alternatively I want to allow her to do it at home in a particular place like a litter box just as cats.
I don't wanna make this lengthy, but I tried every possible thing I could, I tried positive reinforcement, negative. Treats, runs, pads,punishment, I stayed with her, timed when she want to go, but she still mess up and it's getting out of control.
I keep her inside at home, and we have a yard where she can poop in, I can't put her out because the weather is hot.
