Honest question, do all Male small pets smell worse than females? I've (my son) had a female and a Male hamster, the female was awesome, the Male peed EVERYWHERE and smelled so bad. I've also had a female and Male hedgie, and same thing. I'm looking at getting Guinea pigs but they're both males. I don't want to get them if they smell because they'll be in my son's room (I'll still take care of them). I'm a good animal mama and my son is very gentle with his pets, but I just worry about the smell. My son's room doesn't smell that good anyway..... ha ha.
