I turned my back for a second after just turning the stove off (which had been on high) and he jumped up and stepped on it! I’m so horrified and feel terrible. His right paw now has blisters on 2 of the toe pads.
If anyone has any suggestions on something that I can do for him that might make him more comfortable I’d appreciate it! I know there’s not usually anything you can do for burns but I feel so bad seeing him limping.
Also, has anyone else experienced this? Is there something they make that I can put over a hot stove to protect him from doing that again? I have a large pan on it now but I feel like he can easily move that if he wanted.
