She came out of surgery the day before yesterday. There is a drainage pipe and stitches. I cannot call the vet since it is weekend.
The cat has a collar on that prevents her srom scratching her eye. How long should she wear this? Until her stitches comes out?
My other cat leaves her completely alone and does not interact with her anymore. Will they play again when she is better?
Can I take the collar of to ler her groom her self or is that to much of a risk? She paws at her wound, I just move her paw away.
Can I clean around the eye abit? Or will it be to painfull? I cleaned her nose and whiskers. That seemed to calm her.
Can I feed her some meat? Or give her more treats than normal? Or will that be bad?
After the wound closes can I give her an eyepatch? A soft one made out of cloth. The cat likes to wear a nornal collar and she also loves blankets. I saw pictures of people doin this. Do you think it is okay.
Please help me, I do not know what to do.
