My family and I have been looking to adopt a kitty and found a pair of sisters who we think would fit perfectly in our family. We filled out the application and got a response saying they'll contact the foster mom for a meet up, and meanwhile, check our references. It's been over 2 days with no response, but my references haven't heard anything either. Is this typical? I don't want to be a bother to them, we are just so excited to give love to these kitties if we are so lucky to adopt them. It is an all volunteer shelter so I am sure they are incredibly busy as well! So is this a normal length of time to wait for a response in my situation?
