Rodent experts send help

Crossposted to petmice, but I might get a faster answer here idk. These aren't pets but pet people will hopefully have experience with fancy mice that would work for me.

I don't know how you guys feel about house mice but I caught one to relocate last night... and she had babies in her little temporary terrarium before I could drop her off at her new home. I have no idea what to do, she has food and water and some shredded paper towels and cardboard tubes but I'm sure she's stressed and maybe being away from her nest is bad? The terrarium is pretty small too. I don't want to let anything bad happen to them, I already feel bad about taking them to a strange place when I set them free.

How do I prevent anything bad from happening? Any advice is appreciated!
