Today we went to the dog park with our Great Dane puppy and he split open the pad of his front right paw. It’s pretty deep and maybe an inch wide. I have a picture but it won’t let me post it on here. I read online that stitches won’t keep it together because it is on the pad but there is liquid stitches. Should we keep it wrapped with gauze and medical tape? Will it heal over time? He will constantly like it I’m sure but I’m just worried as we are first tile dog owners. Please don’t judge but I’m just trying to help the little guy out.
