Hello peeps!
I am writing here because I am sleepless and desperate, I could use some help.
I have an outdoor cat and we have been fine for a really long time. He's had a fairly stable routine, he either sleeps all night and goes out for most of the day or he sleeps most of the day and goes out at night. He usually comes in at times to have some food, particularly chicken.
The problems started recently (about a week or so) as he has been leaving early in the morning and coming in late at night. Not only he doesn't come at all during the day to eat, when he comes late at night he is restless. He walks over me and my partner while we are sleeping, he tries to cuddle but then immediately regrets it and bolts out of the room, then he comes back meowing. He is also coincidentally tired of chicken now, and won't eat any.
I have tried leaving more food for him, I wake up and hold him, I give him fresh water, I do everything I can think of and he still won't chill!
I barely see him and when I see him he is interfering with my sleep. I am both worried and frustrated and I don't know what to do. Has anyone had this? do you know what might be causing this? I would appreciate the advice.

TLDR; My cat doesn't show up all day and then he comes home at night and is acting weird, interfering with my sleep.
