Hello. With all the things needed to be prepped for moving, the biggest one that worries me is my cat.
I will be moving halfway across the US, a 15 hour —without stops— drive, in a moving truck with my SO and our cat. Does anyone have experience doing this?
Specifically worried about how she will use the litterbox, remain calm and have enough room.
I am hoping to take her to a vet to get some sort of sedative. Last time I took her into a car, she panted and couldn’t stop breathing heavily, pupils dilated, nonstop cries and I thought she was dying. Don’t want that again. Also planning to purchase her a much larger carrier since the one from our past trip had to be small enough for an airplane. Though the only room she will have would be between my SO and I in the front of the moving truck.
