My two budgies who don’t trust me at all started flying around their cage (I’m not sure which it was so I’ll refer to it as both) and I heard them crashing around and it would stop for a few seconds then begin again. I turned on the tv so I could get some light for them and they stopped. I’m worried something could have happened to them. I looked it up and it said it could be a night terror for them and that the OP calmed the bird by petting it, holding it, etc. but as I mentioned before they don’t trust me so would should I do? I don’t want them to possibly get more scared by me lifting the blanket but I also want to check up on them.
