My partner and I are 7 months pregnant, so we’re starting to set everything up in preparation. Today we set up the pack and play and moved it in our bedroom. Within an hour of it being in there, the cat is already scratching at the netting on the side of it. I have a sheet over it for now so hopefully I don’t wake up in the morning to holes in the side... but that’s obviously just a temporary solution. We have a 72” condo in the living room and a 30” in the bedroom, no more than 5 feet from the pack and play, so not having something to scratch isn’t the problem. I don’t know if it’s cause it’s new... if it’s cause of the netting material... if it’s the red piece inside it in the middle that’s there to pull when you want to collapse....
I really don’t wanna just “see what happens though”. I’d prefer not to have holes in this $300 thing in the first week.
