I’ve had to start locking her out of my room at night because she destroys the foot of my bed nonstop, and doesn’t respond to being told no (which she actually listens to in other situations) and then redirected with a toy. She goes right back to it the second I stop playing with her, and I can’t play with her all night...
I play with her as much as possible and I give her lots of love and attention, but nothing stops her. I would try playing and then giving her food, but she doesn’t eat much and isn’t interested in sleeping. I’ve played with her for a long while right before bed and she was still completely hyper.
I want her to be allowed in the bedroom with me, but I need to sleep and now she’ll only sleep if she’s in the living room, if she’s in my room she tears at my bed non stop and I’m constantly having to sit up and get her away from the bed. This behavior only recently started too. I hate to leave her all night, she has my roommates cat for company but she would prefer to have me there.
