Hi there. My bf and I adopted our 3 year old female cat a little over a year ago. She came from a sad situation (I’ll spare you the gruesome details) and is skittish of almost everything. She’s warmed up to us and really trusts us, but literally is scared of everything else.
My bf would really like to expand our fur family and adopt a dog. He tends to like bigger dogs like a German shepard or labs. I would love to get one as well, however I’m terrified at the thought of introducing them. Growing up we had a cat and dog who didn’t get along AT ALL and it was horrible. I don’t want to have to go through that again.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks for introducing new pets? Or signs that will tell wether they’ll get along or not?
