Hi everyone, I’m a first time cat owner and I believe my kitten (around 5 mo, don’t really know) is in heat from the meowing and lordosis. I wanted to get her spayed before her first heat but the vet insisted I wait until 6 mo (approx. next month) to get her spayed but now she’s in heat. Will there be any issues not spaying her before her first heat? I will not spay her during heat of course. Just wondering, TIA for the advice!
