It's gotten so bad my parents are threatening to rehome him. He's 5, neutered at 6 months, and he's spraying every day. He's a cowardly cat and the existence of our neighbour cats leave him permanently anxious.
We have tried the vet (no uti), feliway spray (no luck), citrus (just led him to spray elsewhere), and deep cleaning (no affect). We now have a feliway diffuser and enzyme spray coming in the mail but I wondered if you have any advice about the root of the problem? The neighbour cats. Do we just accept he will always be in deep fear of them? He watches them through the window and gets upset. We did try to prevent him from looking out the window but it's not really possible.
Just to note, this is definitely not a litterbox issue.
